3 und 4 und 2 – Komposition für einen Raum

Eine Komposition, die auf die architektonische Konstruktion und der damit verbundenen Akustik der Gotischen Halle Bezug nimmt und in der Zeit und Raum durch minimalen Einsatz von Bewegung und Sound geformt werden. Bereits vorhandene Aufnahmen wurden für die Gotische Halle im Celler Schloss neu arrangiert.

Neben dem Geräusch des Aufprallens der drei Bälle gegen die transparenten Vorhänge sind Töne aus dem Untergrund der räumlichen Architektur zu hören, die Dynamik des Fließens und Tropfens innerhalb des Leitungssystems eines Kanalschachts, die sich mit dem Vokalumfang der menschlichen Stimme mischen. Die Aufnahmen und Töne entstammen der Live-Performance Off ground von 2021, in der zwei Bass/Bariton-Sänger tiefe Töne in zwei Gullys produzierten. Tiefe Bassgesänge im Zusammenspiel mit dem Sound der unterirdischen Architektur.

3 and 4 and 2 – composition for a room

A composition that refers to the architectural construction and the associated acoustics of the Gothic Hall. Time and space are shaped through minimal use of movement and sound.
Existing recordings were rearranged for the Gothic Hall in Celle Castle.
In addition to the sound of the three balls bouncing against the transparent curtains, sounds from underground of the spatial architecture can be heard, the dynamics of flowing and dripping within the conduit system of a sewer shaft, mingling with the vocal range of the human voice. The recordings and sounds come from the 2021 live performance OFF GROUND, in which two bass/baritone singers produced deep sounds in two gullies. Deep bass vocals interacting with the sound of the subterranean architecture.
