Eine in der Horizontalen gespannte Schnur im Raum, mittig unter der Schnur eine aufrecht stehende Kerze am Boden.
Ich zünde die Kerze an.
Stille bis zu dem Moment, in dem die Schnur durch die Hitze der Flamme reißt. Dieser kurze Moment des Reißens wird durch ein installiertes Mikrophon über Lautsprecher im Raum verstärkt hörbar gemacht.
Durch langsames Niederbrennen der Kerze und ihr Verschwinden bleibt am Ende allein der Raum.

DISAPPEARANCE OF THE HORIZONTAL
AND VERTICAL
A string stretched horizontally in the room, an upright candle on the floor in the middle under the string.
I light the candle.
Silence until the moment when the cord breaks due to the heat of the flame. This brief moment of breaking is amplified by a microphone installed in the room via loudspeakers.
As the candle slowly burns down and disappears, only the room remains at the end.
